Teenage Pregnancy and God's Law

Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it…’ Genesis 1:28. This doesn’t NOT mean get pregnant at the age of 13 or even older, 16, 17 or 18 years old just to ‘fill’ the earth. We also have to obey God’s other principles, like for example, don’t not commit adultery, do not kill…ect. God commands us that we are allowed to have children but when we are married. We have to keep are bodies pure in the sight of God, therefore when a teenager or even a lady who is outside of holy wedlock falls pregnant. This is absolutely wrong! God commands us to keep our body pure, and holy, we are not allowed to fall to the human desires of lust or sexual immorality. Our bodies is the temple of the Holy Spirit, whom God gave to us; 1 Corinthians 6:19.

I do believe that teenage pregnancy is wrong, mainly because it is all about what the teenager wanted before, sexual intercourse. This is that right way going against what God commanded us, to keep our bodies pure.

I know a lot of people take this out of context. When they see a teenager or an unmarried woman pregnant, they would think that they were wrong and they should do something about it and now days the thought would be abortion!

I fully disagree with abortion; I believe that if a woman falls pregnant it is a gift from God, no matter what they did to fall pregnant. God makes it clear the abortion is wrong, Exodus 20:13, ‘You shall not murder,’ and also if a woman gives birth prematurely because of a fight or something, then that particular person who fort would be guilty of murder, even though the child is not born yet, Exodus 21:22,23. Abortion is murder, but miscarriage is God saying the baby needs to come home now.

Miscarriage is extremely different then abortion. For some females miscarriage is very depressing and heartbreaking for them but abortion is when the women do not want the child. In these cases some women do suffer from their actions of the abortion.

A lot of the time people take God out of the equation. They sometimes believe that if God DID exist He wouldn’t make ‘those’ females pregnant. ‘Those’, being the females who do not want the child and who would abort. Everyone has to acknowledge that God is in control and that He decides EVERYTHING, including those little children who are not even born yet.

In Gods eyes the life of any embryo—including one conceived out of wedlock—is precious. Therefore, we can conclude that even if a teenager falls pregnant, she should NOT abort because it is murdering a child, which is against Gods law. Even if she conceives when she is not married, abortion is not an option. The only option for aborting a child is if it is risking the mothers life, and there the mother can chose what is best, to die herself and let her child live or to abort the child and survive herself.

So what would happen if a teenager gets pregnant out of holy wedlock and can not handle the pregnancy? Would you abort? What if the teenager gets pregnant because a male raped her and she is depressed and dejected that she wants to abort?
We all know life is hard, but if we know that God is always with us we will make it. Even if life turns on us and brings out the worst, we always know that everything that happens is for our benefit.
